Golfing Spencer Municipal Golf Course offers 18 holes. The greens are Providence Bentgrass. Tees and Fairways consist of low mow bluegrasses. The course features 34 sand traps, greenside mounding, and several water hazards making your golfing experience even more attractive.
Other amenities include an extremely large practice putting green, a practice chipping green (with practice sand bunker), and a very large grass driving range with several target greens. Bird watching, wildlife and nature viewing Over 300 species of birds in the wetlands area at Lost Island Lake. Lost Island Lake is an important multi-use recreation area in Clay and Palo Alto Counties. On its shores is Huston Park, a County Conservation Board park that provides camping, picnicking and hiking plus shore and boat access.
